Competition: Premier League
Market: Bournemouth to beat Stoke
Odds:
The Premier League is back this weekend after the fans were treated to a hugely entertaining cluster of games in midweek. With the transfer window now closed the supporters will be able to see their new signings take to the field, while others will be lamenting the departure of some of their favourite players. With this in mind, Bournemouth host Stoke on Saturday.
Bournemouth have been much better in recent weeks and they are looking like a side that will finish in mid-table at the end of the season. After 25 games they have won seven, drawn seven and lost 11 times, while they have scored 28 goals and conceded 36 times. In their last five games they have won three times and drawn twice, while their last win came against Chelsea as they dismantled the Blues in a 3-0 win at Stamford Bridge. Eddie Howe s men will be full of confidence going into the game and they will want to extend their positive run.
Stoke on the other hand have been slightly better in recent weeks, but they are still in a lot of trouble in the table. After 25 games they have won six, drawn six and lost 13 times, while they have scored 25 goals and conceded 50 times, the highest in the league. In their last five games they have lost three, drawn once and won once, however, four of their 24 points have come from their last two games, meaning there are signs of a revival at the club.
